Here are some ways you can take action to show you care about human services.
Human Services Advocacy Calendar
To improve coordination among the robust array of advocates for human services causes in NYC, HSC has developed a shared “Human Services Advocacy Calendar.” This calendar is intended to be used by sector advocates to help inform one another of planned activities and events. Our goal is for advocates to consult this tool when planning events so that they can consider other scheduled events and activities that may target the same audience and media.
The calendar can be viewed by the public, but only HSC members can post events. To post an event, members must fill out a short on-line form with event details such as time, date, location, purpose, and contact, which can be accessed by clicking the SUBMIT button below. Forms will be submitted to HSC staff and the event will be added to the calendar. HSC reserves the right to not post events deemed inappropriate.
You can see our calendar in "Agenda View" below as well as our larger, more comprehensive calendar on our HSC Website here: Human Services Advocacy Calendar. You are able to change to different views on the top right corner of the calendar and can see details of individual events by clicking on them.
